API requests are authenticated using an API key that can be generated on the developer settings page.
The key must be added to the x-api-key header of all API requests.
You can only generate an API key if you are a paying user. View our plans here. Users that are part of a paid Team or School count as paying.
The key is tied to your user so be sure to keep it secure! If you're worried it has been compromised you can refresh it here.
Authorization
You can only use the API for padlets where you have administrator access. So either you created the padlet or you have been invited to collaborate with administrator privileges.
